Here are some (fuzzy) exterior shots from the Realtor.ca listing showing what the house and front yard looked like in 2018. Lots of turf grass and creeping charlie in the lawn. The purple-ish pretty but prickly barberry bush by the front door was the first to go.
This shot taken from the driveway makes the sorry state of the creek walls apparent. They take a beating in rain storms when the creek level rises rapidly. That’s a separate project.
The creek flows through the backyard. Yes, we love the porch between the house and garage. The treehouse was gone when we took possession.
Behind the house there’s a narrow backyard that was turned into a pollinator garden.
The front and back yards were each a blank slate, exciting and a little scary at the same time.
